Sealed Drawer

A drawer that locks. This page says what is inside it, who holds the key and why.

What the drawer holds

• The account itself: an email address, a hashed password, your first name, birth date and gender, with whatever you add in your lantern room.
• Your vigils, plus her notes on you, since that is how she remembers.
• One cookie for your session, and one showing that you turned the key at the gate.
• Payment records: what was paid and the transfer's reference. No card ever reaches us.
• Ordinary server logs, kept briefly for security.

What it is for

Running the vigils, applying the rules and keeping the lamp lit. Your messages pass through an AI model on our own machines or on a provider's under our terms, and software checks them for safety. Vigils are not for sale, and no advertiser reads one.

Counting visitors

A plain analytics counter shows the number of arrivals and their countries. It never reads a vigil.

Your controls

Any chat's menu lets you edit her notes, keep a copy of the vigil or strike it out. To erase the account in full, write to the keeper from its address. If your country's law adds rights of its own, name them and they will be respected.
